The electronic throttle assembly mainly includes throttle, electric stepping motor (on throttle), double throttle position sensor, gear and a spring. The electric stepping motor is controlled by the load cycle signal from PCM. A concentric spring controls the throttle valve. When the throttle valve is opened to the close position, if the stepping motor power is lost, the spring will close the throttle valve to the limit position. When the throttle is fully closed, the spring will also try to open the throttle. The throttle opening is realized automatically by using the DC motor on the throttle through the deceleration mechanism.
(1) Throttle position sensor TP
There are two throttle position sensors in the throttle body assembly. One is used to send the actual throttle opening to the PCM, while the other is used to detect the abnormality of the control sensor to ensure the reliability of the sensor; two pairs of potentiometers are installed in the resin box of the throttle body; two pairs of brushes in the throttle body touch the variable resistor according to the movement of the throttle, and the voltage signal changing on the contact is sent to the PCM.
(2) Accelerator pedal position sensor app
App is used to monitor the opening of the accelerator pedal. When the accelerator pedal is pressed, the resistance changes, resulting in a voltage change. This sensor sends the changed voltage value to PCM; one potentiometer is used to send the accelerator pedal stroke controlled by the driver to PCM, while the other is used to monitor whether the sensor value is normal to ensure the reliability of the sensor; the two sensors have different variable resistance ranges; the sensor bracket is equipped with a limiter, which is designed to rotate the connecting rod more than one when quantifying, the accelerator cable link will hit the limiter.
(3) Throttle actuator
When no power is supplied to the motor, the throttle is slightly opened from its fully closed position under the action of the default spring force in the throttle body; when power is supplied to the motor, the motor will open and close the throttle through the intermediate gear; the torque for opening and closing the throttle is controlled by load; when it is concluded that the driver requires fast acceleration, the current applied to the motor When the torque level reaches the level that can meet the target throttle opening, the load rate is controlled to maintain the throttle position; in the closing direction, when the load factor is less than the constant value, the throttle will return under the action of the throttle return spring force; when the fast deceleration is required If the driver suddenly releases the accelerator pedal, the polarity of the motor will be reversed to completely close the throttle.
