Electronic throttle body is mainly used in vehicles equipped with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Traction Control System (TCS).

(1) Main structure: throttle position sensor TP; accelerator pedal position sensor app; throttle actuator; throttle actuator control module.

(2) Function and working process. It has the basic function of common throttle, its function is to open the channel of intake manifold on the main pipe, open different opening degrees under different working conditions, the throttle of common car is controlled by the accelerator cable driven by the foot pedal. But this kind of cable controlled throttle has the phenomenon of air intake sluggishness under the special working conditions such as rapid acceleration, that is to say, the throttle opening signal has been sent out through the throttle position sensor under the special working conditions such as rapid acceleration, but the actual air entering the cylinder has not been followed up in time, and the throttle is not very stable under the air flow disturbance, so the air volume is not stable and the acceleration is not stable Not ideal and unstable.

According to the throttle position signal, the PCM directly drives the DC motor to respond quickly and opens the throttle in time. Moreover, under the self-locking effect of its deceleration mechanism, the electronic throttle will not fluctuate due to the disturbance of air flow, so as to ensure the stability of air intake and speed of the engine.
